Swacrit systems

Effective December 31, 2024, SWACRIT, through SWACRIT Technologies AG, acquired a strategic stake in the German Alumina Redwitz Holding GmbH. Alumina Redwitz Holding GmbH is the parent company of the Alumina Systems Group (“Alumina”). Alumina, formerly part of the Siemens Group, develops and produces ceramic components for demanding and mission-critical industrial applications and has unique expertise in vacuum-tight ceramic-metal composite components. The Austrian company SWACRIT systems GmbH and the Swiss company SWACRIT Technologies AG form an innovative systems supplier for the manufacture of complex mechanical composite assemblies and high-precision components. The company’s activities are focused on capital goods markets for high technologies (particularly vacuum technology), with a particular focus on the semiconductor, analytics, and medical technology industries. SWACRIT systems has production sites in Hall, Wildermieming, and Nassereith (all in Tyrol). By investing in Alumina as a developer and manufacturer of vacuum-tight ceramic-metal composite components, SWACRIT becomes a unique system supplier in Europe and expands its target markets and production footprint.
